The Banff log cabin was exactly what we needed for our little get away! Very cozy and cute. The distance from town was excellent to walk which meant not having to find parking in Banff. The hosts were so kind giving us tips on where to go for the day, and the special unexpected treats in the evening put the icing on the cake! The breakfast was far more than I was expecting and the muffins were always fresh and so delicious. I would definitely stay again!
We spent two nights at the Banff Log Cabin. It was the perfect, romantic cabin to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. The Hosts are gracious and accommodating! We have stayed in many places over the years but none are equal to the Banff Log Cabin. The cabin is cozy and there are no shortcuts. The breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day, delicious and perfectly prepared. Sarah was wonderful and provided us with her cell phone # right away so that we could text if we needed anything.....The responses were always expedient and friendly. a The special touches, including the muffin warmer, sincere note cards and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate put it over the top and into the 5 star category! Thank you for making our short getaway a time to remember and cherish for all time.
Sharon and Malcom are those rare gems that you seldomly find in your travels. Absolutely lovely couple who welcomed us in their single cabin of a lodge. What a stay! We have loved every single minute of it and wish we could stay longer. From the beautifully appointed cabin, to the cosy decor that add to its charming spirit, this stay was one of the best we’ve had in Alberta! The bed was delightful! Just the perfect firmness for a good night’s sleep. Equipped with a tv, fire stove, and kitchenette, you’ll have everything you need. More than anything, Sharon and Malcom’s hospitality is next to none! They are so lovey and catered a beautiful daily breakfast tray that we adored. We will definitely book again when we are back in Banff!
We loved this cozy little cabin. The location was close by Banff Ave, and Bow Falls was just a hop and a skip away. It was a beautiful walk into town along the water and over the bridge! (We even got to see the Northern Lights!) The care and details in the cabin warms my heart.. and so does the lovely fireplace. Malcolm and Sharon provide a little menu for breakfast — the waffles and different muffins were scrumptious! From the Banff Log chocolates on the pillows, to the little cleaning notes and services you guys provide, we appreciated it all. Thank you Malcolm and Sharon for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful Cabin with us. We hope to come back again!
The Banff Log Cabin is a wonderful place to stay in Banff. The cabin is well appointed with comfortable bed, nice bath and everything you need. The location can't be beat! Easy walk to Bow Falls, Banff Springs Hotel, Cascade Gardens, and Banff Ave. Malcolm and Sharon are wonderful hosts! The care, detail, and attention they provide to keeping the cabin clean and welcoming is clearly seen. Breakfast is yummy. You choose what you want to eat from a list of items and what time you want them delivered to your doorstep each morning. We had waffles and several different types of muffins while there. We will return to Banff in the future and look forward to staying in Banff Log Cabin again.
What an incredible place to stay, relax and enjoy Alberta! It waa toasty warm inside (even when it was -25°C outside) with in-character decor, a nice comfy bed and everything we needed for a 6-day stay over Xmas. The breakfasts are to die for and the hosts, Malcolm and Sharon, provide perfect touches to make time there feel special. Extra points for the friendly house dog and the deer we had looking through the window the day after we arrived. We would 100% book again.
My husband and I had an amazing 3 nights stay in this lovely cabin. Conveniently located near downtown banff in a quiet neighborhood. It is also walking distance to the Bow River trail and Fairmont Banff Springs. Fantastic and filling breakfast with the homemade blueberry muffin as our absolute favourite. Cabin is clean and has the kitchen amenities we need. We would love to come back here sometime in the future probably during the Christmas season. Thank you, Malcolm, for your hospitality!
This is a gem in Banff. Located in a quiet neighborhood only a 10 minute walk to town. Since parking is difficult in Banff, leave your car at the log cabin and use easy public transportation to get almost anywhere. The cabin is rustic yet comfortable. The hosts are amazing, and the breakfast is oh so yummy… served at your requested time, with your choice of freshly baked muffins. Will definitely return for another stay.
